The album versions: Gracias (Thank you) is a song dedicated to the late Chillout Dj Jose Padilla, some say the godfather of chillout and I can only agree. I knew him very well and we met the first time in Cafe del Mar (Ibiza) back in 1991. I instantly realised what this chillout was all about, his talent of bringing sunsets together with music and that it was the needed recipe for 'surviving' the 24/7 club lifestyle. Unfortunately Jose passed away a couple of years ago and this track is to prolong his name and legacy.

The 'Phil Mison remix': I have been very fortunate to know Phil Mison (Cantoma) for the same amount of time as Jose, he was also Dj'ing in Cafe del Mar back in those days. Phil Mison is in my opinion the one left who is the true chillout and Balearic sunset pioneer above all other. So when he was up for doing a remix of this release I was incredibly happy and convinced that this would end up being the right release to honour Jose Padilla fully in Balearic style. Now it's up to you the listener to judge for yourself. RIP Jose Padilla
